Bought the book when it was first published. Great inspirational book and often find myself thinking about the content. Especially loved the bit about the real you, not the idiot you project to everyone else.
We mostly ride bikes worth thousands and we dream. Spend a few quid and buy the book!!
 
I got to 17 yesterday and now my wife is giving me bad looks. Epic I think I'd have a breakdown stranded in such a remote location. :bow:bow :clap
 
Loving this. Just had a stunning thought about how you're heading into the almost unknown, unable to speak the lingo and it all seems to work out somehow, due to the generosity of strangers.

Makes me a bit more optimistic about everything.

I'm enjoying the book as well although I'm a bit behind the video series as you're still in South America.

Just finished the first 21, was struggling With buffering on YouTube and remembered I could get you tube through the old TiVo box, gotta say its the best thing on my telly for a long time.
The tenacity to film both the highs and also when your clearly down is what makes it so gripping.
Looking forward to the rest of the trip

I finished Not Dead Yet yesterday and really enjoyed it.

What amazes me most.. is despite the trials of the last two days.. you still took the time to make pretty (and time consuming) video of ride-pasts...

I'm sure I would have summed it up with a couple of lines about how tough it was, how glad I was to have made it.. and not had any video of it at all...
