Cagiva Elefant

Hi Tom,

Not much of late. Been a bit distracted by the 1200GSA. Was in the garage earlier and did think I need to get reinvigorated to rebuild it.

As coincidence would have it, I've just started recommissioning this for it's owner, 13 years untouched!!

there is one up the road form me on ebay at the moment.

Seems pretty cheap compared to an Africa Twin and a lot more interesting

Hi Matt

dodgy dave here from the Ducati Forum< soooo glad to be back on the Beemer, 2010 Twin cam - are they awesome or what ! Just ordered an Accelerator module, they do give a bit more kick ! I enjoyed getting then 750 Elefant back on the road, great bikes for sure but she was only ever a winter project- bought for £750, costs around £250, sold for just over grand, learnt a bit and rode a good few miles - nice to get a bike back in use

Dave,

Good to see you in here. We really should meet up. I am still tinkering with the monofaro but have my eye on a friends DR350 too. Looks like I'm going to need a bigger garage.

Of course, we need to see pics of your GS!

Some Elefant porn for you all:D

Accelerator Module

Hi Guys, well that is the Elefant and the CBR thou gone - to the same guy !!

Matt - take a look at www.sol2.be - I have just fitted one of the Accelerators to the now even more Mighty GS !! They really transform the bike, a fair bit more grunt and all those slight flat spots in the fuelling have gone, really a good deal for 35E. Wont do rear tyre life much good though!!

Stan,

Only just seen your post. Not a great deal of movement. I've had the rear Ohlins unit rebuilt minus the remote adjuster and gathered a few odds and ends such as a trail tech unit.

Having said that, I may be looking at another donor bike to help with some of the small part problems I'm having.
