Hi , I bought an 11 plate V-strom last week and have put 1000mls on it over the last 4 days . The bike is an absolute pleasure to ride , apart from 1 thing , the front forks. I just can't seem to get the suspension dialed in right and it feels very uneasy on the front end. To me it feels like it is under sprung but the compression damping feels too harsh ( don't know if that's even possible )
It seems to dive under moderate to hard braking but when you hit bumps or holes it rattles the fillings out your head like it's far to hard on the compression damping .
Does that even make sense ??
Anyway , just wondering if anyone else has experienced this as it feels a wee bit dicey , particularly when cornering on a rough surface and it starts skipping the front end from under you .
Has anyone got a cheap fix for this problem ?? or am I just spoiled with the BMW Telelever setup??
Thanks in advance , Jok
