Off to Dungarvan on 27th December for a few days with the family. My son has only agreed to come if he can visit father Ted's house. Anyone know where it is? lat/Long would be useful, then I can have a look on me GPS to see if it is anywhere close-ish

Hoping to do some walking as well, so any advice on must-see sights?

Shame I couldn,t take the ADV, but 4 up and luggage might have been pushing it! Still, there is always another day.

I'm sure Pthagonal posted the info in the Lahinch thread from this year, on a little map too...I would have checked and linked to the thread, but it's gone 5pm here, so time I shot out the door....

When you get over here buy OSI map Discovery Series Sheet 51. About €7 or €8 and easily available especially around the Burren National Park area. Fr. Ted's house is located in the bottom right hand corner of the map.

By far best large scale map for walkers = Burren by Tim Robinson
- gives outstanding detail and is a work of art.
