I had the same situation 2 weeks ago, had planned a Pyrenees route from atlantic to med, but weather looked the same, rain rain & more rain. I just looked where the weather was good and rode there instead, worked for me have had nothing but sunshine in Spain, in fact just first rain last night, but sun is out now. Thats the bonus of being mobile
