A decent airbed, a proper pillow and a belly full of ale is your answer

    Or, of course...

The local B&B's are fully booked apparently. As my wife doesn't drink (much), we may look at somewhere a short drive away, and drive over for the evening.

    Overspill camping?

The village hall in Brailles sometimes hosts Caravan Club rallies on their sports field...may be worth contacting them.
Toad, If you are a local then another option would be Tom Taylor possibly...opposite the golf course?

We should have plenty of space for all at the pub

We may be touring down this way at this time. Can we 'drop-in' unannounced?

    Yup. No problem at all.

    Turn up any time.

    No need to book.

Helps to book food, but we can probably sort food anyway.

also, if I can't get someone to look after our rescue dog, could I bring her along? in which case it'll be via Fiat Panda not the bike

Managed to get up to the house in Wales and measure the barn door. 9'5 1/2" That means it's going to be very tight getting in to the car park.

Step ladder and pump at the ready

I'll make sure we have people on hand to spot for you, and take pictures

I'm going to be on the bike for the road ride on the Saturday with Miss Alf driving the camper to the pub for 16:00. It'll be the first time that she's driven it on her own - would someone please help her with parking duties? VW T4 lifted Syncro - you can't miss it!
