Made a mistake

I have just ordered a set of wilburs to be fitted 2 weeks from now

I have not been happy with the OEM particularly 2 up with luggage

so please tell me i have done the right thing !!:bow

:D

Ordered mine when the bike (1150GS) had done around 36,000 miles and didn't feel as planted as it once had.

Great units IMHO. Now done 90,000 miles. Front unit refurbed once and rear unit twice. The second time was due to a fractured lower mounting point probably caused after trying to emulate a motoX jump off a humpbacked bridge with fully loaded panniers and camping gear:augie

Poor judgement of speed.

Mine made a big difference, but TBH I didn't realise how much until I got onto an almost identical bike (GSA with similar miles on it and OEM shocks, well worn) and really hated the ride.

Enjoy :thumb2

only have the rear done, but the front is on the list, has made a huge difference

you've definitely done the right thing.

if i had to keep the standard setup, i'd be riding something else.

If you've given them the right numbers for the weights involved - the difference is tremendous.
Got ESA? Soft couch mode in town and out on the road...click to normal and in a few seconds you feel the difference no problem.

They have the right weights non ESA
I'm looking forward to finding out if they are as good as is promised

Always fit Wilber's to my bikes :thumb

They gave us some for the F650GS's for the Mongolia trip, and again for the F800GS for the Iran/Pakistan trip :D

Best thing since sliced bread ... better for every day use 24/7 than the highly strung precision made Öhlins :thumb2

:beerjug:
