Brook Suspension aren't selling the new '46mm Adventure Series' shocks, they are advertising the old 40mm street shocks which Nitron no longer offer for the 800GS, 1150GS or 1200GS. :rolleyes:

So the actual RRP on the new Sport+ shock is £435.00 for the rear end of the 1150GS :thumb

Eventually bit the proverbial bullet. Ordered the sport+ with Hpa and a black spring for my 04 1150gsa :D

Fairly simple process ladies and gents, a few questions about your weight and riding style,

Order processed, couldn't be any simpler

So it arrived yesterday - the quality is excellent

fitted it last night, did 80 miles on it his afternoon

Points I noticed, and bare in mind I had the stock unserviced on 40k and then had it serviced 2 months ago and have seen huge differences

The Nitron really did blow the old shock away even when serviced

1 up no luggage out of the box settings

Handling - outstanding and confidence inspiring, I feel in more control which in turn means I can travel faster, yes I'm faster but I feel safer due to better handling

Squat on acceleration - minimal

Corners/ sweepers - absolutely brilliant! Holds a fantastic line, it doesn't have sports bike handling but by fk it can turn in a hell of a lot better now!

Feed back - developing, I need more miles on it

I noticed also that I had zero ass ache too, which I didn't expect, I usually get a twinge but none tonight

I also found a few rough patches on the roads and it is a revelation as to how the shock now handles poorly constructed roads bumps and potholes

I can't fault it yet!

I'm just really happy with his upgrade and will do the front very soon
