I'm just wondering if anybody knows or has already beating up here on a big bike.
I have heard the sound of 2 strokes while I'm mountain biking.
Just thinking of heading up here and was wondering if anybody has any info.

Cheers.

There's a wide (but bumpy / rutted) track leads over the top. Look for Toor on the map for the northern entrance. Nice ride & views but it's not very long. Handily done on the GSA.
I think there are other trails in the area but I've never done them. Anecdotal evidence would suggest these would require a smaller bike than a GS (unless you're called Reevsey :D)
Go & have a play and then report back :thumb

I did it a few years ago. Interesting rock formations near the summit & great views as you say but in 2 or 3 spots the unpaved road had been washed away & was far from handy. It may have been repaired or your handy is not my handy?
Another recollection is that the paved hairpin section near Ardpatrick had lots of cowshit on it - the things that stick in the mind almost as well as that stuff sticks to the bike!
