Has anyone tried using H7 LED bulbs as advertised on EBAY etc.

I'm wondering about changing the H7s in my FF50s for something brighter. I have HIDs in dip & main, but I want instant-on in the spots (which come on with main) to cover the few second warm-up of the HID.
So, H7 LEDs or replace the FF50s with new LED spot units?

I was very pleased to discover that my Yam Super Ten has shutter controlled headlamps. The shutter covers part of the light on dip and springs clear for head beam. I upgraded both lights to HID as a first modification and the shutter means two lamps at all times and no delay to head beam.
I don't now why BMW don't use a similar system.
