Despite rotten cabbages being thrown at the leader from the posh folk in the Corporate boxes, Independence with jockey Wee Eck has stretched their lead to 11 lengths.
Better Together, in second place is still running strong, far enough behind the leader to avoid being hit by divots, but looking very dirty. Constantly looking round for opportunities to hinder the leader is making his jockey look desperate.
Still a long way to go, with new ditches being dug round every corner by protesters, trying to unseat the leader. Will he be caught out by one? Who knows?

I hope the referendum is not decided on wee Eck, and what people think of him and Ms. Sturgeon, but more that in an independent Scotland we will be able to choose more closely to who is in power, and what our resources are committed to, and what related policies we want to be managed by.

Just who do you think would be voted into power in place of wee Eck? There is not a breadth of talent to choose from. There is no chance of anything other than some form of socialist government being elected in Scotland as it stands at the moment. The population has for so long been told that all that ails them is the fault of the tories and they have yet to learn the lessons of the madness of trying to borrow and tax your way to prosperity. What stuff from RBS and Loyds saying we cant? They may be forced by law to change but they haven't come out and said its bad, only westminster has said it is bad. In fact I havent even heard them say its bad other than for the rUK because they would have to keep the debt. Standard life, BP and Shell are politically aligned and in fact have provided no evidence that we couldn't do it rather from a certainty point they would rather there wasn't an independent Scotland. Can't comment on the university stuff as I haven't seen it, perhaps you could provide a link? And yes I can choose to ignore all that the same way you choose to ignore all the favorable stuff from industry and academia that is even slightly favorable to a yes vote.

A large majority of Scots voted SNP in the last elections (a majority that was never supposed to happen because of the way the voting system is set up, yet they still got a majority vote) giving them the mandate to call for this referendum. Why does it appear now that we have been given this democratic vote that so many seem to think he and the SNP are such idiots? The man is delivering what the majority asked him to do. Did the people who voted SNP last time around not realise what they were voting for? The SNP never made a secret about it, it was up front, Vote SNP and we will go for independence, they have been campaigning for it for decades. If thats the case then maybe the No campaign has it right, maybe the Scots people are too incapable of looking after their own affairs.
