Your bike is getting on for seven years old. If it's survived this long (apparently) without any, it may well survive the next seven, too.
I have a full set of SW - Motech bars on my 2007 - solid, not silly expensive and wery well made. Perfect fit.

Hepco & Becker without a doubt for me. had a bit of an off on diesel to the os. the bar and the os. pannier took the load without bending and no further damage apart from a few scuffs here and there and as i was in italy at the time was very relieved. plus, i can get the rocker covers off without removing them (the bars). the same cannot be said for the SW - Motech ones.
