Alternatives to Metzeler Tourance???

Ah, I was going to suggest these. Not that I've used them, but the guy on the Metzeler stand at the Ace Overland Day suggested they were the best alternative for the Tourance, see pics at http://www.metzeler.com/site/uk/products/tyres-catalogue.html

The Tourance Next seems a poor choice.

I'm looking forward to the Enduro 1 and 2 to replace my TKC's when they wear out. (From the link above)

(As this was in the East Mids section not the 1200, I thought I'd throw in my two penn'oth.)

Out of interest, how do you tell the difference between old and new Tourances? Are the sidewalls marked as such?

As Mallard states: 3 versions of Tourance.
1. Tourance
2. Tourance EXP
3. Tourance Next

Thanks Mike,

I'd like to go for the original Tourance if thats OK. I'm heading up to Altberg in Richmond for my birthday this weekend, would next saturday morning be any good? I can sneak out of work a bit early in the week but I'm guessing its not a quick job? Would you mind if I took a few pictures for the site?
