I Did tell you all it made sense didn't I a a a a LOL

Good price for what used to be called the GT I didn't have the panniers or top box as there was too much wait for them, the Kawasaki heated grips are shite so went with the Oxford Kawasaki fog lights liik like they belong on a truck so fitted some 25w LED ones, so mine is really a basic bike and that was £9799 they have put £200 on now as per the link below

So If you've got one with all the bits on it for that money you've been blessed !!

Cheers Rob. I hope it all works out 😊. I've been meaning to ask about the can on your bike. It looks very cool. Are you pleased with it?

i think there's one option that comes with fitted ohlins. that's gotta be worth it.

It looks nice and is very compact but id like it louder to be honest, I got it off ebay for £100 so it had to be had !! most of the noise reduction from the big V is through the cat and you can run it without an end can at all its no where near too loud, ive taken the Removable baffles out and taken out the restrictor plates from the can and still needs more, it does sound a bit fruitier but id like more noise, non of the aftermarket cans make it sound like a big sporty 4 pot LOL

I Wasn't offered that one !! and I would have probably gone with it as I do like a bit of ohlins that's for sure :thumb

can't find it listed now, but i saw it in a mag long term test (probably MSL). they said it was called Performance pack or similar. i guess it could be a dealer thing?

Now ready to tour. Givi plate and Trekker fitted, Givi tank lock bag and Comfort Gel Seat

Good point,well made,officer !!

But show me one top box that does look good !!!

Don't really want panniers unless I am 2 up as will just use the Trekker and my Ortlieb roll bag to make filtering easier etc.

Hepco and Becker make a decent pair of soft panniers for them that fit like hard panniers ive got the link if interested mate they are cheap as well surprisingly

You are not wrong - mine is bloody ugly too. The only time I really use it is when the missus is on the back so she can lean against it. If i'm on my own (and don't want panniers) I have a kreiga set up that's fine for four or five days worth of travel .... :thumb2

Holy shit!

I'll never take a word of anything you say seriously, ever again, if you've seriously fitted that to your bike. Our wheelie bin is smaller!:D

Looking good Arsey:thumb2 It goes to show there are some good alternatives to the GS that are worth trying out. i'm loving my jap alternative so far .........even nicer than the Versys :p but still overlooked . Got the full Honda luggage for it in the Higlander spec but prefer just using my old Givi top box and a dry bag for weekends away:thumb
Oh how I do love the V4 .

I've clocked up nearly 16,000 miles on mine since getting it in February. I'm really pleased with it.

Had a fork seal start weeping so got it replaced, done a couple of oil changes am on my second rear tyre and am about to put a new front tyre on this weekend and that's it apart from chucking fuel in it every day.
