One that I hadn't ridden before, going from Quingey, via Ornans to St Gorgon-Main... Then the main road to Pontarlier, just short of the Swiss border.

D191 / D9 / D101 / D67, then the N57 to Pontarlier
 
Excellent, thank you. Heading that way in August and just looked it up. I shall add into my return route out from Geneva to Saint-Die-Vosges :)

Just had a look, we did a bit of it and then headed towards Champagnole

Try the D9 from Diemeringen to La Petite-Pierre and then the D7 to Weiterswiller. I guess all the roads in that little bit of country is good. It is a bit north from where you are.
 
Indeed a nice little road - my routine Sunday morning bimble. Usually end up at the biker cafe in St Hippolyte for breakfast.
