t the moment I only have the 800GS set in stock in black, with the new defender QR mounts, lid loops and latches its a much better set than the one you looked at at the Overland event
I recently fitted the full set to mine they have the redesigned locks, I had the same headscratching session tightening the torx screws on the foot pegs. Overall I'm delighted with them they are a quality bit of kit.
If you let me know that you want them i might be able to get a set in frozen grey added to my next order but i need to know today or tomorrow at the latest, they should then be here about 20th of April (ish) if not then you are looking at about 6 weeks, at the moment i am selling them as fast as i can get them, next delivery is already 30% sold, all i have in stock at the moment fit the 04-12 R1200GS, the KTM 1190, the Honda Africa Twin and the Triumph explorer plus one set in black for the 650/700/800GS
Two reasons for this, 1. people overload a big top box, then it makes the handling bad. 2. its bad for the aerodynamics, can cause a weave at speed, 3. on some sets it would make it difficlt to open the lids of the panniers
Nothing to stop you fitting a big Givi top box though, several customers have done that as they have wanted a top box that takes two lids

Agree with all that . But I usually just use top box and only Fit panniers when going away. I also want just 1 key. It's a shame though as I like the toolbox idea.
yep, lots of people just use the top box most of the time, maybe he will make a bigger version in the future but he has no plans to make one at the moment, he's to busy making panniers
Just noticed I said two reasons then I listed three !
