There is a little known book on the subject by a couple of blokes who also do a bit of acting and film work.

There was a TV program a few years ago when some guy tried to do this with a dog sled. He received training from Siberian hunters and made a reasonable job of sledding up there but poor conditions plus Siberian wolves and bears prevented a crossing.

I reckon to repeat his method would cost a fortune with very low chances of success and extreme risk of death.

I beleive att is the sites expert in all things Canada, he was going to live there once don't you know.
