PDNP Authority have managed to secure a permanent TRO on the famous Long Causeway which comes into use later this month, I've used it for over 25 years and it is another sad loss.
PDNPA keeps banging on about access for all but is trampling on the long established rights of a small minority of vehicle users.
I can't say it makes me want to be courteous to ramblers but I like a good walk myself:rolleyes:

It is a shame but I can see their point.

I've ridden a few of the green lanes in the Peak and am sad at their closure to motorcycles, however, I can see the other side of the argument.

Whenever I've been walking/climbing in the area and have encountered motorbikes, the riders have always been ignorant wankers, riding too fast, not acknowledging walkers on the path, spinning the rear or skidding unnecessarily which damages the paths.

Once again, it's the irresponsible twats that have ruined it for the rest of us, and unfortunately, a predominant feature of humans is to be reactionary rather than reconciliatory so they've reacted.

Will we ever learn? (Rhetorical)
