Tour de Yorkshire 2015

It'll be the 'etape' the amateurs doing the stage a few hours before the pros. :thumb2

We've had a constant stream of ameteur club cyclists coming by here for the last hour or two "warming" the road for the racers later. I reckon there's been several thousand through today

Trudi said some of the numbers on the riders doing the amateur sportive event were 2900 and something, so it could have been thousands.

We saw the racers from the bottom of Main Street and it wasn't the most exciting sporting event I've seen.....

The climbs get the crowds as the riders obviously go slower past. If you try riding up from the bottom of Brow and then up Main St you'll suss that they really do the business...altho a fair few looked absolutely bolloxed. Alps climbs go on for miles but are steady and they wont be used to the likes of Scapegoat Hill and Goose Eye.
I was stood 50 yards down from you and loved it. :beerjug:
