Front Brake Pads

Whilst giving the CT a good clean up today I noticed that the front brake pads are down to the minimum after a mere 7300 miles. It's not just the wasserboxers that suffer with premature pad wear.

I bought a 2012 ct this week. I agree about the seat and screen. The engine more than makes up for it. I think I'll be keeping this one for a while.

Bought mine in September last year, 7,000 miles later and we've really gelled.
Did a 2,500 mile two up trip to Tuscany this year in complete comfort. It handled the twisty' s and barrelled down the auto routes with ease.
And after all that the battery still works, the ECU unit is still OK, the wheel bearings are still fine and my rear shock hasn't worn out yet.......!

The preload adjuster mechanism seizes up on them Dave, so it would be an idea to check that. There have been a number of reports on the Crosstourer forum about this problem.
