Bike Tires - what to choose??

Hi everybody

I have 20 000km on my GS 12000 Adventure and still using same factory tires Metzeler Tourance. It is about to change them now.
What do you guys recommend??
It is for dual ride use, actually more like 80% tarmac and 20% off road.

I've just had a set of Conti TKC70's fitted to my 2010 GSA.

They got a good write up when tested down in Wales by Nick Sanders and the press last month.

Though they ain't been off road yet I did 300 'spirited' road miles round Glencoe, Laggan, Lecht and Glenshee on Sunday and they held the road very well.

I may drop the
pressures slightly as they did feel a bit hard over some broken surfaces.

Not sure when they will officially be available but supposedly it'll be this month.

Having said that my last set were Tourance's which lasted well and got me over the Corrieyarrick Pass during the Summer.

Is the Corrieyarrick Pass open to vehicles. Last time I was there about 2008 it was closed to all vehicles. I've always wanted to go over it
