anyone using a metal mule top box? and if so any useful observations?

Had one in my 650gs twin, use to work for metal mule as well!
Only fits one full face lid if you go for the 32 litre, and no lid if you go for the 22. The attachment system is a little awkward to get on and off.
Goo points, no rattle when in the bike as it's rubber mounted. Very robust and will take a lot of use. I did swap for a givi top box as it can take two lids!
Any information let me know!

Probably not the advice your looking for but I don't like a topbox on the F800GS... I prefer a tail bag and or a duffel bag.

i have a 32 litre top box of old and am maybe thinking it could be a bit of a top heavy set-up.
i have a touratech tail pack which is a great bit of kit, been on loads of different bike.straps down with ease and great for short trips
the bike i have has no panniers yet but will have jesses ultimately

Got MM side boxes, but a Givi 45 top case as it is a lot cheaper and can get two lids in / one lid and 'stuff'.
Having crashed several bikes with Givi kit on I reckon it's pretty robust and if you have such a big off the top box hits the ground I'm guessing the rest if the bike is pretty mashed!
