I'm looking for a good deal on a Motobatt battery for my r1150gs........................anyone seen any good deals?
I have one of these currently fitted, but its getting a little tired after 2 years of daily use.

Cheers

I wouldn't be impressed with just 2 years from a battery that retails at £72 when you can get alternatives for under £40

http://www.tayna.co.uk/GEL12-19-Exide-12-19-BMW-Motorcycle-Battery-51913-12-19-P8398.html lists the Exide battery which is the same as BMW fit
Scroll to the bottom for alternatives and you will see an alternative AGM battery for under £46 delivered

Personally, I'd go for the Exide, cheaper than the Motobatt at £65 from Tayna and they will usually last a lot longer than 2 years. A few quid cheaper on Ebay or http://www.eurocarparts.com/ecp/c/B...bbc539fe2d3028f254fba746a604847ef28c0b&000020 but Tayna's service is worth an extra £3

a motorbatt that tires after 2 year daily use - cant be right. My OEM lasted 4 years then I decided to switch out of caution. So bought a motorbatt which was/must have been faulty.... sent back after 2 days. Replaced it with hein gericke own brand...14 months later-no issues. Then recently, I the charged up my OEM and connected it to my generator on the motorhome (14 months after standing doing nothing) and it started my generator no problem. Hooray for OEM. PS my bike has always stood outside and until July, was ridden every day....
