I recently purchased a TomTom Rider V5 and have been trying to work out the best way to fit it to the bike and would appreciate any hints / advice or a steer in the right direction please?

So the way I think I am going to proceed is to connect it to the F800GSA's power loom near the battery. I just want to be sure that this is a good way to proceed? Here is a pic of the battery guts and I just want to be sure I am looking at the right part...

The connector I was going to use can be found here :

This is it...

I notice however my white connector seems connected to something, can someone just confirm for me if this is just a blanking socket and it is ok to remove the socket, and connect it to the one shown above to power the sat nav?

The other options I was considering are :

- Attach a HELLA plug to the wires of the sat nav charging dock and use the power point at the key.

- Wire it directly to the battery but I would be concerned of this causing battery drain?

Many thanks in advance!

The connector you need to use is the black female one, behind the White one.
The male connector from Nippy's is correct.
