Its our local shop when we stay at the folks place about 300 metres further down to toward Burtonport
and Paddy and his daughter pull a grand pint in the pub a couple of hundred metres toward Kincassla
Ah Many a happy evening spent in there

A grand day out in what is rapidly becoming the old mans weeing tour of Ireland.

My peripatetic peregrinations have been concluded. Photos in the post yesterday after a struggle with my Epson printer.

Good evening folks
Firstly may I wish a regular Photo Rallyist Charles Coughlan [aka Bogman] a speedy recovery; he broke a good share of bones coming off his bike in Cork last Monday – a lot of mud on the road & a ditch featured heavily. The man himself is currently in CUH. I’m not sure if he will meet next Wednesday’s closing date – his entry was not among the 22 that arrived today! An Post sent up a van this morning – they would not all fit on the post lady’s pushbike! A courier dropped by with 2 more in the afternoon – took me most of the day to log it all in & take a few images. Up to 170 entries now – all a bit mad really.
The closing date is Wed Nov 11th & it’s the real closing date.
No post tomorrow [Sat] but I’m expecting the van on Mon, Tue & Wed – then all the stuff is shipped to the judges; they have their work cut out for them! http://www.worldwidewords.org/qa/qa-wor1.htm

Thanks Gerry, just spotted this, appreciate the comments, well on the road to recovery at this stage, feeling like im getting back to normal, hope I will be on to drive "a car" to the photorally weekend in February 6th, must also take this opportunity to thank Jimmy Ellis who has been very good to me driving me all over the place over the last month, happy new year to you and yours, see you on the 6th....Charles
