What year and model

I bought these off fleabay a few weeks back. They were advertised as suitable for a 2009 R1200GSA. They are not. When I tried to fit them I noticed two things that differed to the tank cover currently on my bike. The first is the the recess for the petrol cap is way too deep and secondly there is a small extension or guide protruding from near "0". What was this cover designed for ?
I have the matching front mudguard as well and it seems OK

that looks like a 2006/7 GSA tank cover.

plastics changed in 2008.

Front beaks were different as well I think. The earlier ones were solid on the sides whereas the later ones had a little "diamond" shape cut into them.

Can be collected from Ashbourne or possibly on some weekend along the M7 between Dublin and Ennis.
