exactly i think with a little care and attention and mantinence most things could be reliable
All British bikes were crap back then, a 30bhp Starfire ridden by a 17 year old was never going to be a good idea! Ride it sensibly, look after it and you'll a cool little bike that will increase in value year on year This is the later Triumph version but they were all built by BSA anyway. i think it may be a triumph daytona 500 one of the best looking bikes around
had a 1969 one of them. cool bike. vibration was a killer but not unusual in them days. Amal MK.1 concentric carbs. did my head in somewhat but hey it went well and looked good.
