An FJ09/Tracer owner visiting his dealer saw this bulletin today and took a copy, then posted it at http://fj-09.org/thread/875/intent-recall-fj09-march-2015?page=2 - the notice affects a limited number of bikes across several models using a generic transmission component

I'm in the UK and my Tracer is not on the list.

recall now live in the UK - I have a letter from Yamaha to get my gear shift shaft changed as there may be a faulty gear shift cam segment stopper
