Spa 2 + Garmin 660 & Media Help Please

I ride with a pillion most of the time and have a spa 2 Autocom and a 660 Garmin. When on long runs I play a little bit of music.
However, if playing from the Garmin it only comes out of one speaker. All other information say on routes, talking to my pillion plays through both speakers in the head sets.
Playing anything through the phone port comes through both speakers
Is this right or what am I doing wrong ...very frustrating.
The lead connecting from the garmin to the autocom is the correct autocom twin jack lead.
Any help greatly appreciated.

I can't think why thats happening but two things i would check if you havent already, if the stereo plug from the Garmin to autocom isn't fully inserted (check the Garmin 3.5mm plug) then you could just get sound through one speaker, and if those connections are ok then try plugging into the different Autocom inputs.
