..... this weekend?

Did I hear correctly?

I've just been into Lincoln and there were plenty of Harleys about. Chatting to a couple of Swiss chaps they tell me there's some sort of annual European meeting here this weekend and they're expecting 10,000-15,000 bikes to turn up.

Next year Barcelona, same weekend.

Lots about between Newark and Grantham couldn't tell if they were Bandidos though

Have done 3 Harley super rallies in the past, but they are getting too big and too expensive at £75 each. plus petrol, beer, food etc
plus who wants to go to fekin Lincoln.
Spain is a bit more appealing next year.

Lots of Harleys heading south on the M74 yesterday and saw about 20 on the M8 heading south today, hope the rain stays away for them....

A lot of back patch wearers going to this, many patches from the well known HA and Bandidos to the lesser known Scandanavian patch clubs(What it lloked like;))....Seems to be a recipe for a bit of bother if you ask me, the Police seem to think the same, the Police were out in force in many unmarked vehicles and many ARV units around the roads of Lincoln.....Bit of posturing going on from the Police if you ask me.

Wasn't that long ago that a HA guy was shot on the way home from the Bulldog Bash.

A couple of years back, there were openly armed Plod attending the fekking Essex air ambulance ride, which really pissed me off at the time (posted here) but they allegedly had 'intelligence' that something was going to kick off.....it spoiled a family event though, seeing openly worn guns out on the picnic field amongst the kids playing frisbee :(

The HDRCGB were going to host it, but they were too scared that the HA and the Outlaws would turn up and spoil the party. Consequently it's being hosted by West London Harley Riders, who are also members of the European Federation of Independent Harley Owners Clubs. :blast

Consequently the HDRCGB will continue to whither and die :rob

Last year was Estonia and next year is Northern Spain. They do normally attract 10,000 people but there was some discussion about how much the channel crossing would be a barrier. You couldn't make this shit up :jager

Well, 250 HA turned up with a Police escort:blast I guess the Police think they are taking the least disruptive option by escorting them, other road users are not so impressed round these parts:D

More school yard games by those who should really know better, shame they never gave their emotional development a fair run:tosser

Just driven past the HD encampment - an awful lot of bikes on the site itself and an equally large number of bikes queuing up to get in at 10pm
