    Charlbury TT

Had a great ride yesterday, one the best I've had for a while. Five of us did the Charlbury TT route taken from Bike magazine last year. I'd done several parts before but the extra bits I hadn't made it a fantastic route.

It's real mixture of roads, plenty of undulating twists and turns, some fast sweepers, some super smooth surfaces, some places a little bumpy but all really good. Really good.

It took about 4 hours plus stops riding briskly so if you have half a day or so spare, get out there and have some fun.

You're meant to go through Charlbury twice. We did it with a route out from Welwyn Garden City joining at Winslow and thought that it was good.

The Best of Essex is also quite good although next time we do it we will not go past the A12. From the A12 out to the coast and back to the A12 looks good on the map but is very slow with lots of 30mph limits.
Anyone riding slower than you is an idiot, and anyone riding faster than you is a maniac
