Missing nipple

So I rode off with the chain through the back wheel. Bent a spoke and tore off the brake bleed nipple :blast

. I'm planning on riding to France at the weekend, can I just plug it until I get back and fit a replacement?

You will be fine. the chances of needing to bleed the rear brake while you are away are slim.

Yeah you be grand, even if it dose it's only 10 min job if you get parts, call motorworks for over night delivery stainless kit .

Thanks TWG, that's exactly what I'm after. The original had almost corroded right through at the base anyway.

So that's the nipple sorted, has anyone experienced a perished gland coupling?
