Slight rotational movement of rear shock - 2014 R1200 GSA

Was checking the bike over today and noticed there is slight rotational movement of the rear shock when the ESA and Gold can are moved left or right.

It's a 2014 R1200 GSA. If anyone can confirm if this is normal and why the movement it would be appreciated.

Normal on all GSA LCs. Asked the same question on ADV site when I got my bike and got the same reply.
