Me and the breadknife are off on random ride on Saturday to Pembrokeshire (from Devon) and staying over somewhere (not bothering booking anywhere in advance).

If anyone can recommend a good route through wales (not M4) to Pembrokeshire and where to stay the night which is biker friendly it would be much appreciated!

Cheers

Chris

Don't know much about accommodation as we was camping down there a couple of weeks ago on the bike .
But if you get chance to ride the A4075 that goes past Carew not a massively long road but a cracking ride .
Have good one:thumb2

I'd take the m4 to Cardiff north on A470 to Breacon A40 to Carmarthen and on west to Tenby plenty of guest houses and localish for rides around pembs.
If you really want to hang out the trip you could zig zag up and down the valleys that feed out onto the M4 - there are some great rides just north of the m4.

Camping recommendation.

Hi Chris,
if you are camping, you could do a lot worse than this place http://www.westhookfarm-camping.co.uk It has got a tranquility and calmness to soothe the soul, and if you are lucky you may see seals playing in the bay. It is the Welsh equivalent of the beautiful campsite overlooking the bay in Ullapool, Scotland. Enjoy the spectacular night sky.

Hi,

Thanks for recommending this place. Looks very nice indeed!

Hey chris,

may neck of the woods, have you been for your ride yet?

there is a nice loop you can do to the north of Pembrokeshire - taking you over the preseli hills and around along the north and west coasts if you are interested?
