A on-off (two day) Wander Weekend 01-02 August

The Prudential have seen fit to block London with bicycles, so I'm probably off...

Plan: Me plus two or at the most three other bikes... all depending on me being able to find a suitable hotel !!

Depart: Either early Saturday morning 01 August OR early Friday evening 31 July and stay in St Omer

Return: Early evening Sunday 02 August

Going to: Good question. Probably south of Peronne, maybe Signy-l'Abbaye which I have been through several times.

It's a very reasonable schlep in the day if we avoid the motorway (as I intend to do) .... particularly if I take in some new D roads I haven't tried before... so we'll probably need to crack-on and take a picnic lunch.

    Richard

    Hello Richard,

Pauline cannot make it, but I can. So if you have booked a double up, no worries I 'll take it.

    Thanks

    Hi Richard,

Nice to see another Wander invite appearing on the forum. Sadly the timing doesn't work for me this time. I'll have just acquired a new XR (red of course) but with no luggage at the time of your Wander.

Shame as it would have been the perfect opportunity to run it in!

    Next time please?

    Thanks,
    Andy (Jen says hello!)

Hi Richard, sadly I seem to have got roped into watching my son in the above mentioned cycle run otherwise I'd have joined you too. Hopefully next time.
