Hi everyone going to Looe, in a few weeks for 2 days with the cousin he's on a harley so gotta be road stuff ok with smaller roads though,

Thinking of going trebarwith strand on the way home,

was wondering any good roads or recommendations for bits to see, doing lands end, as we both haven't been there

Cheers,

Tom

North Cornwall coast st Ives to lands end is good road not fast very twisty great scenery. If you can find it the back road into Mousehole from St Buryan on way back from lands end. If you miss that road stop off at Treen little coffee shop does good teas.

Bugger Trebarwithstrand, it's a car park ! Try Hartland Quay instead. Ex RAF Davidstow is worth a look, especially the abandoned control tower.

Lands End is a commercialised eyesore. Don't bother unless it really is a bucket list job. If you must go, park in Sennen and walk along the cliff path.

cliff path is an excellent walk. Avoid Lands end commercial enterprise if at all possible- awful "visitor experience" after you clear the traffic jams. St just on the north coast is a good run from St Ives.

If you ride the road from Torpoint to Carkeel roundabout (A38) and back a few times you will get faster and faster. Brilliant bit of road but not at weekends because lots of local bikers already know it. Just remember to slow to 30 mph through the couple of villages and you'll have fun. Your mate can scrape his Harley foot plates on every bend.:comfort
