I've downloaded the OSM UK map and I can use it in Basecamp. I used "Install maps" in Basecamp and I can tick the map in
Setting > Map > Map Info.
However. If I untick the Garmin maps leaving the OSM map ticked then go to map on the Zumo there is just a blank white page.

How do I get the OSM map to display?

Are you referring to the Ordnance Survey overlay ?

If so it will not work on the device AFAIK as it is so very memory intensive
If someone knows different I would be pleased to hear it

I've tried turning it on and off - no joy.

I installed the OSM map on the 660 by clicking "Install Maps" in Basecamp on my PC whilst the 660 was connected.

I didn't create any folder on my 660. I can see I have a file named "gmapsupp.img" under "Garmin" folder on the 660 with today's date next to it. Which I assume is the OSM image file for the map.

BTW I notice I cannot untick the OSM file in Setting > Map > Map Info.

There are threads on th Zumo forum stating that Basecamp and 660's don't like each other, Garmin (apparently) don't recommend it.

Could be nonsense, but might be worth checking there...

Thanks all, I went through the whole process again and now I have a 3D map.
To be honest it doesn't look much different to the Garmin map. :blast

It's probably the Garmin 3D map, which is why it looks so similar... if not identical.

Now... Have you given up on the OSM maps?
