Just testing the waters has anybody got a booster plug fitted on there 1150
Motorworks sell them
So would like a unbiased opinion do they improve acceleration fuel consumption !!!!!!

Thanks :beerjug:

I have one on my 1150GS. It seems to pull better than before in as much as it will pull a higher gear smoothly sooner. The bike doesn't seem faster in anyway but is more pleasant to ride. I haven't checked the fuel consumption, I would expect it to be worse but it can't be much as I have not noticed any difference. Some say any improvement won't last as the ECU will relearn.

I had one on my K1600GT to try and help the lousy gearbox. I then transferred it to my 1200TC when I changed.
Didn't notice any change in fuel consumption on either bike.
They work by enriching the fuel ratio slightly when opening the throttle. So when on a steady opening, the mixture is the same.
I felt that it helps when blipping the throttle for smoother gear changes. Didn't feel any performance gains otherwise.
Just makes for a smoother ride.
