    Hi JB

    Yes, went for the Delkevic header. Want to get the kick start fitted in the next few days then button it all up.

    I'm thinking maybe a trip to Iceland on her or maybe Scandinavia.

    Have a Seat Concepts coming for the 690R so if that works out I'll order one for the DRZ.

    If you 'Google DRZ400' case savers there are many different makes.

    A word of warning though, there may be some pictures that show bikes and parts not quite as pristine as your example.

    Keep an eye on the bush behind the countershaft sprocket. Corrosion can lead to premature seal failure and engine seizure. A new oem bush is about £15, so cheap enough, and if you change it at every two front sprocket changes then you should be fine.

    I have the complete kit from Suzuki which comes with a decompression lever and cable which does not need to be fitted to the 400S.

    Instructions etc are included but this is by far the most comprehensive guide I've found:
