I've searched on the forum, but can't really get a good answer as to whether or not a Starcom1 Digital AND a radio (maybe a Kenwood Funkey) would be able to fit under the seat of an R1200GS hex-head. I appreciate that a few people have used the top-box, tank bags and other areas for the radio with the comms unit under the seat, but wondered if anyone had managed to use the under-seat space by removing the toolkit but NOT having to butcher and remould this area. If anyone can guide me here and even if there are photos to share, it would be much appreciated.
