Any advice please, downloaded Florida map off Openstreet maps, straight to micro SD card. I unzipped the file before transferring the file. Installed the the card into the Zumo and bingo, feck all. Can anyone please tell me if there's more to it ???

You need to download a wee utility called JaVaWa which installs the mapping onto the Zumo.
When you run the utility hook your zumo with card installed up to your pc. JaVaWa will recognise the gps unit and will allow you to install the mapping onto your sd card. It is pretty easy to do really.

If I remember correctly (it's a while since I did this), the folder downloaded and unzipped from OSM needs to be renamed as Garmin. It should contain a file called gmapprom.img or gmapprom.sup (either is fine) which contains the mapping but the Garmin wants to see it in a folder called Garmin.
