    Almost.

    As we got to the one in Kielder forest, Paul & the nice man doing 'Tail End Charlie' both gave me some really useful hints & tips on how to get across it, "Look at this, don't look at that, pick a line, don't veer from it, watch where the others go' etc. etc etc. All gratefully received.
    What neither of them thought to tell me, probably assuming that I had an ounce of intelligence (wrong!), was that I might want to close the flip on my crash helmet as I careered through the ford Guess who got an absolute fecking faceful of Northumbian water.

    Lesson learnt (perhaps) for next year.
