Parking in Durham City

Good evening , I need to go to the Passport Office in Durham tomorrow.Anybody know where I can park the bike close by without charge ?

Says there's a motorcycle bay in Framwellgate Waterside adjacent to the passport office.

Also says you can park in the pay and display bays without charge.....fancy that!

Thanks AberdeenAngus , I`ve already looked at this web site , not sure if I can believe it`s free . Just wondered if anybody has actually used this location .

From memory the actual passport office is out of the city effectively and should be plenty of easy parking nearby

(this is based upon having driven past the place a couple of times and thinking that looks easy to get to )

Hi

If you head for the Radisson Blu, on the banks of the Weir there's ample parking. The passport office is straight up the steps to the bridge. Be careful though, the river was all across the road when I was there two weeks ago. I had to carry swmbo across the road. Brownie points R Us
