Weathers kinda nice - time to ride!

It is indeed the bridge over the Dee @ Linn of Dee :thumby:

Luverly run further up the side of the river if you care to slip past the gate. Just watch out for the man in the big 4x4

I've been all the way out to White Bridge on the bike :D

Not been up there, must try it, while keeping an eye out for 4x4's.

Nice little run up the Don valley if you take the Corgarff Castle car park turn near to Cock Bridge. Feels even more remote than the run up to the Lin of Dee, must be as Google street view haven't taken their car up there!

Sunny Speyside

No Photos but after a meeting yesterday I had a superb run up Glen Devon, past Gleneagles to Crieff then Amulree (one of my fave roads), Dunkeld, Blairgowrie, Glenshee then Deeside to Aboyne and home to Inverurie.
Great way to turn a dull journey into a great day out.

Is the Glen Devon road fully open after the dam issues a while back ?

1st Ride of 2019

Took my first ride into 2019 this morning, taking in some views along the Moray Firth shoreline and then some more views along the side of the River Spey.

The shoreline at Kingston

This house has slowly but surely been inundated by the Rives Spey as flood after flood takes away more and more of the bank in front of the house and the fields to the side.

The old railway viaduct over the River Spey

And finally, the old Ice storage house at Tugnet, right at the mouth of the River Spey

Only 50 miles covered, but the sun was out and the temperature gauge stayed above freezing for most of the ride

Bring on more miles in 2019
