Do you have a GIVI number for the ones you have used - I've found 3 clear hand guard extenders on the GIVI site.

I can't remember the code number.
The ones I have fit on the bar ends.

I'm asking this out of genuine curiosity not to start a row but I considered getting some fancier handguards to replace the all plastic BMW ones on my bike but I'm not convinced they're worth it. Have many of you out there been doing some off road stuff and been whacked by a fat branch that would have broken your hand but for the steel handguard?? I know the bike is capable but I'm not sure it's a thick of it off-roader so is it more pose than need?

Had it wacked enough times so hard that those oem ones bend. Also dropped it few times and afterwards needed to reshape those oems. Too much flex for my liking. But maybe flexing has saved me from braking handlebars...or maybe its those raisers that wont tighten enough to keep handlebars on their place if you hit something like birch tree.
