First EVER Photo rally points!

are yis all on holiday
id be over again next week but decided to go scotland instead (west coast and crail yay)
then over to belfast big big metal burd sadly
hopefully over before into the west to chicken out in person at the laois one

Finished today. Can't remember ever having them all done in August.

Good day to you all, it's almost September
Summer is past – not one to remember.
Better than last, but well far from tropic
That now exhausts the weather as topic.
You’ve not heard from me at all for some time
Now this missive is issued, in rhyme.
How was your summer – how did it pass
A trip to the seaside, or mowing the grass?
Where you out and about on your wee bike
Taking in destination, wherever you like?
To Martinstown maybe, the gate at the stud
Hope you behaved, or my name is mud.
Speaking of there, things have been quiet
Earlier looked, like it might well be a riot.
Security, it seemed, were losing the plot
Seeing a threat, and there not a jot.
There was one report of Kilmainham strife
A bin man shouted “you can’t park your bike”
Other than that it all has run smooth
The Photo Rally appears to lighten the mood.
So where did you visit, where did you go
Proceeding at speed - or possibly slow.
This year of remembrance for 1916
Perhaps to holy wells, up muddy boreen.
From Greystone bear to Ballycotton boat
Up to Bush ford or Lough Talt, remote.
How did it go; your trip to the grotto
More of the same, is that your motto?
Photo Rally hell or Photo Rally heaven
All in progress for months - about seven.
Very importantly, I must now remind you
Months remaining, there are only two.
Still good time left – no need for dismay.
There are 23 entries received to today
For this time of year, that is the most
From now it gets busy – a lot in the post.
I’m starting to think it would be sublime
To shift the whole thing, proper on line.
Some will resist - things novel or new
Others will say “it’s what you gotta do”.
To a web based system we must evolve
The current logistics, too hard to resolve.
Apart from the usual Photo Rally crew
Assistant is working, on new method too.
Unlike Pat Hickey, too long in same place
We must embrace change, the old to replace.
On the whole thing, I’m not turning my back
But would like to see others, take a new tack.
That’s about it, the summer is past
But autumn is good, to visit points last.
Now it’s the time to finish the job
Get in your entry ahead of the mob.

Yeah, I got Ballydugan Mill yesterday. Only live 3 miles up the road. Always leave the near one to the last minute. Going to bite me some year!
