Mine came with the Rosso 2s and although they are brilliant tyres they are not what you would call long lived, I have about 1000 miles left in my second set at just under 4 k on the bike and will be ready for a new pair.

I have been considering switching to the BT30s but the write ups on the new Rosso 3s look very good so want to give them a go

Anyone with experience of them before i decide ?

Mine came with the rosso 2 and to be frank i was pretty miffed with the tyre life. 1700 front and rear. I found they moved about quite a bit too under duress

on Mich Pilot Road 4 now

Yes mine didnt last long either ! I do like them though but interested to know how the PR4s perform on it

Finding the bike to be more stable, tryes aren't moving about at all really. Turn in is sharp and the bike is better with the Mich

Mine came with the II but had to be replaced within the run in period and were swapped for the Rosso as thats all they had in stock. Apparently those are the stock o the RR. I've never found either of them that confidence inspiring as they seem to be a bit squirmy in the wet\damp.
I'm looking forward to getting through the current set and getting something else on them.

I was considering the Pilot Road 4 as I had them on my GS, but the Rosso III or BT30s sound interesting alternatives.
It would be good to hear people's experiences with those.

I have the BT30's on mine, and they're very good in all weathers.:thumb

I have BT30's also, but I can't get to 3000 miles from a rear... Yes the riding style will have much to do with it, but a few more would be nice...

Are the PR4's any better?

Just about to put another set on...

I went BT31's in the end. I should really try others but I've always liked the Bridgestones, also provides me with the opportunity to whinge about tyre life :)
