I met Squire sometime ago, he used to frequent our local swimming pool, a gentleman in his 80s, he opened the milk bar in Sherburn in Elmet for cyclists.
I do Yorkshire, 49 years born and bred.
My in laws live in Sherborne, and the place that is now squires is a shit hole!!
Plain and simple. Nothing to do with the nice people that either frequent it or work at it. But if your feet stick to the floor covering walking to the pisser and you pay £12 for 2mugs if tea and two butty’s that you wait 45minutes for when it’s empty and then you have to straight the fat out of the butty what else would you have us call it?

Personaly hate the place and like others have said "Nothing to do with the people that go/work there" Its a ride from hell for me to get there (M62+ motorway) and the food and drinks are expensive garbage its also a meeting places for the boys in blue to catch all the over 40 pot bellied power rangers that gather there
