Getting excited now.... Lady Penelope is coming together

You're setting the bar pretty high for us SE owners with this one - I'm really interested in following your progress.

Just out of interest why did you go with shiny white instead of matt?

And where did you find those excellent Moto GMT mounts?!

More photos ...

lol

I had so many ideas for colours and badges.... I forgot to tell Tunner lol :blast and he did the right thing for now with a play on the SE colours - I'll try and get pics tomorrow ;)

I put out a search for those mounts cos i had heard about them.... :drool

and was told by oblertone that he'd already put them on when he had it ..... :augie

Shiny new powder coating at rear end while it was all off

You can't quite tell in this flat light today but the full gloss paint by Tunner has a pearlescent quality in the blue...

I bought a cockpit trim a while back - that has been pained by Tunner to match too - Mike fitted 2 handy power sockets and light switches so I can have the two sets of lights on (right switch) and set them to come on high with main beam (left switch) - very neat and very bright

Outstanding. How do you get on with the Heidenau tyres? It was all TKC80s a few years ago, but those look a good compromise

Haven't done any real mileage yet. Took it very easy on Saturday on the way home in the damp.
Others report very happy results for 60/40 road/off-road usage with good mileage

hmmm, if I switch from the standard exhaust to a stubby I believe I could fit a full sized LHS pannier...
How hard is it now to find a Jesse RHS singly and switch it around? I assume I can do this with current mounts etc?

I think I have standard sized Odyssey panniers now

That is an amazing looking bike full credit to you and the lads who did the work.

That looks absolutely lovely, I would like to get my 1150 done at some point, what was the turn around time? and why does it seem to just rain on your bike when all around is dry:D Cheers:beerjug:John B

In total - probably 8 weeks - but if I had got my sh*t together it would have been less
Not due to the fettlers...
Add in another 2-3 months acquiring bits....

I still fancy getting another RHS Jesse box and swapping to a stubby exhaust - so I have 2 full size panniers - as when SWMBO travels , I always get the little un for tools and undies

Rain is a tricky thing on the Wirral :D

All the wonderful mikeyboy's work together with Tunner's paintiness

I just work in IT to fund it :)

Mikey has just sorted the clutch on my 1100; and the brakes; everything was running well, right up to the point were I put 7lts of diesel in the fucker before I relisesd:blast. All pumped out and up and running again; but Smokey but it's running.:D
