If you are a resident of Cumbria, and take the IAM Skill for Life Course (which costs £149), then Cumbria County Council will give a £100 subsidy once you have completed the course and taken the advanced test.

There are a limited number of subsidies. To qualify for the subsidy you have to register for it via your local participating IAM Group, and then take the course, including the advanced test, with that group, and complete it within one year. The IAM group will then receive the subsidy from Cumbria CC, then pay you.

I am the Membership Secretary for MBEAM, the group that covers South Cumbria. If you want more details drop me a PM.
